Nicola is part of the Canadian Powerlifting Team, a powerhouse of 5’ and competes in the 52kg weight class. She also recently finished up a dual masters degree in International Humanitarian Action & Peace and Conflict Studies in Europe which included a masters thesis traveling to Zimbabwe and studying the impact of powerlifting within marginalized and underprivileged communities in Zimbabwe.
